If Big Tech can do this.(Tech Tyranny)

Unfortunately this is the only place I could find this video. Maybe someone with better skills can find it encase FB takes it down. Take the time to check it out if you haven’t already seen it.

We all know what “Big Tech” has been doing, especially to Conservatives, any clear thinking person can not deny it. Just think of the implications for the upcoming elections and beyond, if they can decide they don’t want you to know about this one person, what else can they hide from you? What are they keeping from you?

I posted this the other day on my FB page News and Headlines, which BTW FB is censoring.

Google’s patient data project ‘Nightingale’ is under investigation

According to WSJ, the Office for Civil Rights in the Department of Health and Human Services “will seek to learn more information about this mass collection of individuals’ medical records to ensure that HIPAA protections were fully implemented.”

Project Nightingale gives Google access to tens of millions of patients’ names, health histories, date of birth, lab results, diagnoses and hospitalization records from Ascension.

The health system reportedly didn’t tell doctors and patients that it’s sharing data with the tech giant, which is using the information to design new AI-powered software.

Of course as I’m sure you’r aware, there is plenty more to share on the subject of what the “Big Tech’s” are doing to the country and the information they have on you and me along with plenty of opinions on what to do about. For know though, don’t you think the people that are elected to supposedly be our voices should be focusing on more important thing instead of this sham impeachment circus?

If you have any kind of representation in the House or Senate please contact them and ask them to do something. It’s just about to late, it won’t be long before “Big Tech” IS the government and we won’t be able to do a thing about it.

I would but I’m in California. It wouldn’t do me any good I have people like Nancy Pelosi , Shifty’ Schiff , Mad Maxine Waters and Dianne Feinstein, (is she even still alive?) as my representatives.

Just my two cents, God bless America and you.

So, what do you think of Facebook’s coming changes?

The following is the notice I got from WordPress. I haven’t heard anything from Facebook yet though.

Your website’s connection to Facebook is changing soon

We wanted to update you about an upcoming change Facebook is introducing to their platform, and which affects how you may share posts from your website to your Facebook account.

Starting August 1, 2018, third-party tools can no longer share posts automatically to Facebook Profiles. This includes Publicize, the WordPress.com tool that connects your site to major social media platforms (like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook).

Will this affect your ability to share content on Facebook? It depends. If you’ve connected a Facebook Profile to your site, then yes: Publicize will no longer be able to share your posts to Facebook. On the other hand, nothing will change if you keep a Facebook Page connected to your site — all your content should still appear directly on Facebook via Publicize. (Not sure what the difference is between a Page and a Profile? Here’s Facebook’s explanation.) You can review and change your social sharing settings by heading to My Site(s) → Sharing on WordPress.com.

If you’ve previously connected a Facebook Profile to your WordPress.com site and still want your Facebook followers to see your posts, you have two options. First, you could go the manual route: once you publish a new post, copy its URL and share the link in a new Facebook post. The other option is to convert your Facebook Profile to a Page. This might not be the right solution for everyone, but it’s something to consider if your website focuses on your business, organization, or brand.

While Facebook says it is introducing this change to improve their platform and prevent the misuse of personal profiles, we believe that eliminating cross-posting from WordPress is another step back in Facebook’s support of the open web, especially since it affects people’s ability to interact with their network (unless they’re willing to pay for visibility) We know that this might cause a disruption in the way you and your Facebook followers interact, and if you’d like to share your concerns with Facebook, we urge you to head to their Help Community to speak out.” End of Notice.

I know a lot of people have left Facebook and I don’t use it as much as I did before,(Mostly just for my site) and try to keep my friends count at or under a 100

I have mixed feelings. I have both, a personal Profile and Page for my site (News and Headlines.) I do have my site connected to my Facebook person Profile, I guess I’ll just post it manually, bit of a pain.

My site isn’t really a Conservative site but I was thinking the left has control of the Media and we all know the big three Social Media giants censor Conservatives. Do you think Conservative websites will be effected by this change?

Do you think the other giants ,Google and Twitter will follow Facebook?

I contacted WordPress a few weeks ago to ask if the where going to update the share buttons for the new Social Media outlets like MeWe, Minds, Codias, Gab. The only reply back I got was, “Good question, I’ll look into it” but haven’t heard anything else.

Saying goodbye to Yahoo. Taking back my privacy a little at a time..

“When was the last time you spoke with your friends or family about internet privacy? Sadly, for most people, the answer is never. In general, people believe that only a small percentage of people care about privacy, and while we know that isn’t true, it is something that keeps most people from talking about privacy.” Privacy Mythbusting #1: Nobody else cares about privacy! (Umm, yes they do.)

I’ve deleted everything in my Yahoo account and closed it. I will not respond to anyone with a Yahoo account at the end of their email. I’m slowly moving away from the “Big Three” FaceBook, Google and Twitter. Maybe not moving away but definitely building and giving myself options. This is how it started a few weeks ago for me. I got my Yahoo “Terms Of Service Privacy Notice”  and posted this.

I did and this is what I wrote and Tweeted back to them in segments.

“First of thank you for finally listing to your users and deleting all the “Photos” you stored. I hope they are truly deleted and not stored somewhere. I’m not aware of ever giving you permission to do that.

I had Twitted, wrote a blog post and shared a piece from another site about your new Privacy Policy.

You Tweeted back and suggested I come here.

I am very displeased that you feel the need to scan emails related to banking and financial information, not to mention that the sites you own are allowed to scan emails, instant messages, photos, and other user data and that the agreement also says that the data may be shared with Oath’s parent company, Verizon.

With all the news about data sharing and privacy concerns(not to mention the data that has been hacked and stolen from you in the past) I’m amazed that a large corporation like yours would double down on a policy like this as if to say screw you joe blow public.

We should have an option to opt out of data sharing. Big companies like yours can still get plenty of revenue from sponsors and paid advertisement.

I would like to see you drop the law suit you joined suing California Consumer Privacy Act as Facebook has.”

Never heard anything more from Yahoo until three days ago, this was their response.

Yahoo feedback response.

Yahoo feedback response.

So, that’s what I just finished doing today. It took me a couple days because I had to do some research and look for a new email provider. I never really gave email much of a thought.

When I first started using the INTERNET back in the 90″s I just went with the flow pretty much like everyone else I assume. What a journey it’s been, growing, adapting and watching all the changes. Those of you that are old enough, remember AOL. It was about the only game in town so to speak and once you figured out there was more things available to you trying to get out of AOL was a nightmare to say the least.

I started my search for new email  searching for security and privacy in mind and had to learn what some technical terms meant like, IMAP, SMTP, or POP3 and other things. Here’s some of the articles I found if your interested. The 5 Best Secure Email Services for 2018Best Free Email Services of 2018List of Secure Email Providers that take Privacy SeriousA List Of Email Providers That Don’t Track You.

I’m on a budget and just want basics free email service with a reasonable expectation of privacy. If you really want to take privacy serious you can pay for it or get into encryption but that seams pretty time consuming to me, slow and every one has to have a key and be up on it. You can also go dark of course but thats slow too and you have to take a lot into consideration and make some adjustments.

Anyways I’ve got two email accounts one for the Big Three, Facebook, Google and Twitter with no contact info or personal info in the account. Another for regular email and the other social media outlets I’m on. I’ve been gradually switching, using, moving to the other social media outlet’s for awhile now, moving away from the Big Three and their tracking, censoring and spying. I’ve been on Codias for awhile now and Minds for about a month, really enjoying Minds a lot of good people and mix. Just started using Gab and joined Me We. All looking pretty good and promising. I’ve been using Opera for my browser for about a year now and loving it and also use DuckDuckGo for search now.

If you follow Tucker Carlson He’s done some good reporting on the “Tech Giants” privacy and control. Heres the latest from last night. “In recent years, the digital video monopoly YouTube, which is part of the digital search monopoly Google, has been accused of trying to silence conservative viewpoints – an accusation they deny. The digital monopolies demand that we conform to their views, have too much power and are a threat to our country.” Tucker: Why YouTube’s alleged censorship matters

I know why the progressives and left don’t give a crap or want to do anything about the Big Three.

“calling the concerns a “conspiracy theory,” even as they defended tech giants’ right to censor content on the basis of political viewpoint.

Even as they mocked conservative concerns over tech censorship as a fantasy, congressional Democrats defended tech companies’ right to do it if they wanted to.” Two-Faced: Congressional Democrats Defend Tech Giant’s Right to Censor, also Call Censorship a ‘Conspiracy Theory’

But unless ‘The People” start to take it seriously or do something about it for themselves, things aren’t going to change. You  definitely can’t count on elected officials to take “Privacy” or “Personal Security” seriously, there’s just to much money on the line.

Anyway’s, good luck God Bless America and you.

freedom-of-speech

I guess we have to get used to it. Privacy is dead! Yahoo’s new privacy policies.

With all of the recent news and headlines about Facebook and all the big tech companies tracking us, sharing our information with little or no options for us to do anything about it. I’ve been thinking why isn’t Yahoo in the news? They certainty should be.

I don’t want government involved in much of anything with the exception of the way the founders originally planned for government involvement in states and our personal lives. But I think there should be some type of legislation that forbids these big tech companies from collecting, storing or sharing our personal info. There should be some way to do it.

Oath revamps Yahoo and AOL privacy policies to allow email, photo scans

As more and more Conservatives and people not in lock step with the left get banned and censored by the big three,(FaceBook,Google,Twitter) there are options.

I’ve been thinking about writing about this for a while and after seeing these tweets this morning I decided it was time.

Let’s start of with a couple post I’ve read and shared in the last couple of days.

With social-media giants becoming increasingly hostile to anyone who disagrees with statist and globalist ideology, a growing chorus of voices is sounding the alarm. Christians, conservatives, libertarians, patriots, and more have all been purged from key platforms. On Capitol Hill and across America, outrage over the politically motivated “censorship” is escalating. Now, with lawsuits flying and calls for regulation getting louder, a number of legal issues confront the Internet behemoths — Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google, and more — that could see dramatic changes in the years ahead.  Social Media Purges of Conservatives and Christians Spark Outcry

In recent weeks, we have witnessed an unprecedented social media crackdown on conservative voices.  YouTube’s war with Alex Jones has gotten the most attention, but literally hundreds of conservative content creators have had their accounts penalized, suspended or deleted by YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other social media giants.  There appears to be a coordinated effort to target conservative viewpoints, because similar voices on the left are not receiving equal treatment.  If I win my race for Congress on May 15th, I am going to make fighting this sort of censorship one of my top priorities once I get to Washington. This Is The Worst Purge Of Conservative Voices In The History Of The Internet

I haven’t tried this one yet but I will. OneWay (The free speech and human friendly alternative to Google, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Reddit, Imgur and Patreon) below is where I heard about it.

In the world of social media, Facebook and Twitter are the twin Goliaths. They dominate the social media market. They also systematically censor posts and use manipulative tactics to influence the ways users think, interact with each other, and even vote in elections. But now, thanks to a love of free speech and the power of alt-tech, a new David has arrived on the scene to compete with those twin Goliaths. The new social media platform — ONEWAY — is prepared to become the platform for those who love free speech.  David vs. Goliath: New Social Media Site ONEWAY Takes On the Giants

I’ve been on Codias (THE SOCIAL NETWORK FOR CONSERVATIVES Find, connect, and communicate with conservatives nationwide – it’s free!) for a while now and am enjoy it. They keep improving as it grows.

I’ve just joined Minds , been on it about a week and it too is good. This is my profile roboe1 if your interested if you join. I just started a group there just now so there wont be anyone there but feel free to join. Conservative Refugees.

Before I joined Minds I read this and found it helpful, My first two days on Minds were very exciting, but a little confusing, and I missed a lot in the process. However, being a writer, the more items I’ve posted, the more the site makes sense, and now I am very familiar with the important aspects, and would like to share them with Newbies. The 8 basics are listed in order of priority, so that you know what you need to do first to get things going smoothly 8 Basic Essentials to Get Newbies started on Minds.com

This one too, Welcome, my new friend. I’m very glad you are here to take advantage of the many opportunities offered on this site. Here you are with your brand-new account on minds.com. What do you do now? I’m a user like yourself and have compiled something I hope will be easy, simple, logical, and helpful to you on this new adventure. This site has a lot to recommend it, so let’s get started. MINDS 101 FOR NEWBIES

Below is a good read I just came across today on Minds.

I have a solution. We must decentralize communication and create accounts across multiple platforms. It is far too easy to censor one single outlet and delete your individual profile. Having several will enable us all to build a larger web of communication as well as back up information that may be deleted.

Assembling multiple diverse media networks which offer a variety of content from independent creators will provide robust alternatives to mainstream media. It cannot be stressed enough — it is absolutely paramount for every person to categorically reject corporately-funded propaganda, as it is intended to advance agendas of special interest groups at the expense of the well-being of working class Americans. Do not trust or share media content that is created or funded by any organization with conflicts of interest. Instead, support the plethora of independent underground news outlets available. Battling Online Censorship

INCYMI Tucker Carlson Interviewed the CEO of Minds a while ago. Social media network CEO: How Google censors my company

I’ve been using DuckDuckgo (Your data shouldn’t be for sale.At DuckDuckGo, we agree. 1Block advertising trackers. 2Keep your search history private. 3Take control of your personal data.) for my search engine for about a year now and prefer it over Google.

I use Opera (Fast, secure, easy-to-use browser Try the Opera browser – now with a built-in ad blocker, battery saver and free VPN.) for my browser and really enjoy the options it offers.

The following is a long post but very informative and admittedly, some of it I don’t get but it does have good information.

How to Combat Online Surveillance + More.

Governments have transformed the internet into a surveillance platform, but they are not omnipotent. They’re limited by material resources as much as the rest of us. We might not all be able to prevent the NSA and GCHQ from spying on us, but we can at least create more obstacles and make surveilling us more expensive. The more infrastructure you run, the safer the communication will be.

Well thats it. If you have any more options, suggestion fell free to leave a comment.

AS always, God bless America and you.
