“The angels minister to God’s servants in time of hardship and danger”.

From my devotional this morning authored by Billy Graham I took a trip down memory lane and then was taken on a journey and found some things that had been on my mind lately but honestly was probably to lazy to search for them.

From the devotional. “Hills Full of Horses”.

God’s angels often protect his servants from potential enemies. Consider 2 Kings 6:14-17 . The king of Aram had dispatched his army to Dothan, learning that Elisha the prophet was there. Upon dressing in the morning, the prophet’s helper exclaimed excitedly to Elisha that the surrounding countryside bristled with armies and implements of war. Elisha assured him, “Don’t be afraid… those who are with us are more than those who are with them”(V.16) . Elisha then prayed that God would open the eyes of the young man to see the host of protective angels: as he did so, the young man “saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” This passage has been one of the great assurances and comforts to me in my ministry.

The angels minister to God’s servants in time of hardship and danger. We find another outstanding illustration of this Acts 27: 23-25 . Paul on his way to Rome faced shipwreck with more than two hundred others on board. Speaking to the fear ridden crew he said, “Last night an angel of God whose I am and whom I serve stood besides me and said, “do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given the lives of all who sail with you” (V. 23-24) .

Some believe strongly that each Christian may have his own guardian angel assigned to watch over him or her. This guardianship possibly begins in infancy, for Jesus said, See that you do not look down on one of theses little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my father in heaven” ( Mathew 18:10 ). Author Billy Graham. Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

When I drove a bus there was this one route I used to drive that ended at the foot hills of  Idyllwild  . I loved coming to the end especially in the mornings. I was almost totally surrounded by hills and the mountain and I would look up and could see the trees in the distance on the hills and mountain that surrounded me and it would remind me of ( 2 Kings 6:14-17) in my minds eye I could see all the hosts around me and it comforted me especially on those bad days. In the morning and as the sun rose it was so beautiful and amazing to me and I thanked God for it every time and on those bad days, they didn’t turn out so bad.

When I first became a Christian, God of course started leading me and directing my steps. One of the teachers He introduced me to was Chuck Missler his website is Koinonia House . He used to speak at Calvary Chapel  Costa Mesa a long time ago and I was there most every time and really got in to his Personal Update (monthly) used to be called “K-Rate”. You can check out the subscriptions on the top right of his website. He taught and warned about islam and muslims before they where part of our vocabulary. He’s a brilliant man and has gone through a lot, himself and his wife. Anyway’s, one of the topics I really enjoyed was his views of angels, demon and end times.

I’ve enjoyed these before and am enjoying them once again. You can check out more of his video’s here on YouTube Koinonia House .  I’ve was also there when he taught at Calvary on the subject’s, it was and exciting time in my young Christian life!! I learned a lot from his teachings. I’m always amazed at God’s leading’s. When I was a young Christian He also led me into taking a course on Mormonism which came in very handy later on in my walk.

Encase your not a Christian and your reading this and want something real in your life, change, answers, trustworthy guidance, be a part of something much bigger then your life and this world. Say this prayer, get and read your bible and watch out. This isn’t a promise of rose gardens and no more problems on the contrary. But you will have the God of everything at your side through it all to strengthen, guide, comfort you when needed and safely get you home to heaven and bless you on the way.

Look what I found.

My wife is forever the yard sale and estate sale junkie. She does seem to find things we are looking for though often just at the right time and she is a relentless negotiator, second to none. When we go to buy something that involves negotiating I will try to do it first, I’m not that good at it at all never have been. When I’m done, gone as far as I can go. I release my secret weapon. She’s small in stature but relentless. Like a pit bull locking on and never letting go until called off. I actually feel sorry sometimes for the person on the other side. It’s actually kind of funny sometimes. I will say talk to my wife and the salesmen will smile or you can tell he’s really OK with that. You know, the woman thing. Anyways it’s fun to watch.

She fond a purse at a resent yard sale, She’s the Imelda Marcos of shoes and purses but aren’t they all./s In it she fond a gold looking Jewish medallion. Looks like Hebrew writing to me anyway’s. Been trying to look it up online but can’t find it and don’t understand Hebrew. Tried to figure it out by looking at the Hebrew alphabet. No such luck. Take a look at the two images, if anyone knows what it is or what it say’s please feel free to comment, sure would appreciate it.

I came across this too, HOLLYWOOD FALLS IN LOVE WITH SATANIC RELIGIOUS CULT O.T.O I remember reading about this awhile ago. They have said this stuff about Hollywood for ever though. I believe it and could make the case for a lot of it. It’s interesting because I have been reading allot lately about cults, the end times and how Christians are being fooled and led astray in some cases by the church it’s self.

I’ve been reading a book I fond in a friends yard sale a couple years ago. Just came across it about a month ago. It was written in 1985 but is so relevant today and foretold of a lot of what is happening right now and how we got here, as far as the Church and Christians being deceived by the “New Age Movement”, “New World Order Movement”, “Progressivism” which at it’s core like all other “cults” have at it’s foundation the belief  that we can all become god’s ourselves, know better and can do a better job then God Himself and many have openly confessed their reliance on and knowledge comes from satan or other demonic influences. I’v written about this before in other blog post. The good news.

I was reading in my devotional this morning and some of the scripture that was part of the reading took me on a refreshing journey. The scripture I’m going to share just really spoke to me and was a good reminder to me and just screamed needed to be shared, especially in the time in history we find ourselves in.

The scripture is taken from two great sites. Bible Hub and Bible Gateway .

My reading was in John 16. I always try to read the part before my reading for some context so I looked at John 15:19-27  and it was really just refreshing I guess you’d say and I thought I need to share this as a reminder to others believers and a explanation to the world and-or none believers of why they act as they do towards Christians and GOD. John 15:19-27The Message (MSG) Keep in mind this is JESUS talking.

Hated by the World

^18-19 “If you find the godless world is hating you, remember it got its start hating me. If you lived on the world’s terms, the world would love you as one of its own. But since I picked you to live on God’s terms and no longer on the world’s terms, the world is going to hate you.

²⁰ “When that happens, remember this: Servants don’t get better treatment than their masters. If they beat on me, they will certainly beat on you. If they did what I told them, they will do what you tell them.

^21-25 “They are going to do all these things to you because of the way they treated me, because they don’t know the One who sent me. If I hadn’t come and told them all this in plain language, it wouldn’t be so bad. As it is, they have no excuse. Hate me, hate my Father—it’s all the same. If I hadn’t done what I have done among them, works no one has ever done, they wouldn’t be to blame. But they saw the God-signs and hated anyway, both me and my Father. Interesting—they have verified the truth of their own Scriptures where it is written, ‘They hated me for no good reason.’

^26-27 “When the Friend I plan to send you from the Father comes—the Spirit of Truth issuing from the Father—he will confirm everything about me. You, too, from your side must give your confirming evidence, since you are in this with me from the start.”  The “spirit of truth” really stood out to me this morning besides the obvious sign of the times. I had forgotten I guess this name among others for the HOLY SPIRIT and why we are so dumbfounded why people can’t see the obvious.

Look at the world today. Look at Obama and his progressive administration, friends and agenda. The “Lame Stream Medea”.

Israel is the bad guy, Christian are being killed and persecuted, thrown in prison all over the world. To Americas shame and probably why we are not mentioned in prophecy. WE are no longer a factor in biblical history or history for that matter. We used to be with GOD’s help in a sense the “Watchman on the wall”. The craziness that is going on all over the world now can only be attributed to the absence of America and the silence of her Christian citizens as a leader and one that stands for good against evil for the innocent and needy. This administration, representing us, ( because we have set ideally by while the progressive agenda has been allowed to flourish and take root with it’s godless agenda. ) makes deals and helps the enemy’s of GOD and stands silently by while it all happens.

Just happened to watch “The Hal Lindsey Report” tonight.
What a timely,educational look at our society and the history of other society’s that went the way we are starting to go.

Very informative especially for young people that have not been taught the truth or shown other points of view beside a progressive liberal  point of view.
